Welcome to DADG
What is DADG?
DADG represents the wide range of professional arts and cultural organisations delivering
activities across the County, providing expertise, vision and leadership in further promoting the

What does DADG do?
DADG holds regular meetings across Derbyshire. Special interest groups also meet regularly,
including groups for marketing, learning, community arts, performing arts and visual arts. DADG has
coordinated projects on behalf of its members, most recently a two year programme of arts marketing
development and research into touring visual arts in the County which has resulted in the
appointment of a curator to develop contemporary visual arts. DADG has also actively promoted arts
and cultural activity to key interest groups and opinion formers including the production of an
arts advocacy pack (pdf 2MB) to make the case for the cultural sector in the
County.
