Come and hear tales of dragons, fairies, pirates, magic and mystery from both East and West told by some of our favourite storytellers including Debbie Guneratne, Pete Castle and Pete Chand, as well as exciting local newcomers Sophie Snell and Catherine Rogers. There'll be creative activities too as well as a chance to meet Derbyshire's past and present Poet Laureates.
Some of the performances will be BSL signed for the benefit of Deaf children.
This event is organised by Amber Valley Borough Council Arts Department and Derbyshire County Council Countryside Service.

Chesterfield Writers’ Circle

FREE, although normal charges to enter the Castle apply.
The Chesterfield Writers’ Circle present an imaginative study of Bolsover Castle with fact and fiction intermixed to bring this Jacobean fantasy castle alive. The Writers’ Circle invite young writers to contribute to the event on the day.
