Mark Langley is one of the most skilled pencil artists in his field. His exceptionally detailed pieces portray a wide variety of subjects in black and white, or colour. Mark is always happy to undertake commissions.
Mark trained as an illustrator, designer and photographer and has worked as a designer and commercial artist since graduating in 1995 he is a member of the association of illustrators.
Mark's style is photo-realistic, he usually works in pencil or colour pencil because these media enable him to portray greater detail and accuracy than any other.
Currently Mark is best known for equestrian portraits but his early drawings were inspired by his love of railways. Mark has produced many highly detailed pictures of trains and is a member of the Guild of Railway Artists.
Mark produces excellent portraits of other animals, and people. He undertakes transport and architectural studies and is always iinterested in new challenges.
