Information
An artist and former teacher with extensive life experience, I have taught people of all ages and abilities at home and abroad, and run arts workshops and community arts projects.
Commissions include promotional paintings for organisations, portraits, photographs and murals.
My own work - in paint, photography, installation, landscape intervention - ranges from a direct representation of who and what I see, to a semi-abstract-expressionistic response to my experiences. I have exhibited across the Midlands.
Following a 6 month residency on the Hebridean island of Colonsay, I havr had a very successful exhibition with two fellow artists, at The Brewhouse in Burton-on-Trent, throughout July - selling a healthy amount of work as well!
As well as a BA(Hons) in Fine Art I have a University Certificate of Credit in Developing Arts for Health.
