Information
Karen is an experienced primary teacher and textile artist, who currently works with all ages, delivering creative art workshops. She can provide a range of creative experiences and has worked in a variety of settings in conjunction with schools, local councils, arts council, residential homes and health authority.
Karen's own work utilises both hand and machine stitch, ranging from large scale commissioned banners to smaller hand stitched and beaded bags. She also works on pieces that utilise recycled and reclaimed materials.
She draws inspiration from nature and colour and much of her work is representational or symbolic.
Karen is available to take commissions.
