Louise Broad is a textile artist and designer of innovative accessories from NE Derbyshire.
Her products include handmade wraps, shrugs and hair accessories, including bridal and occasional wear pieces.
She specialises in nuno felting, fusing ultralight silk with merino wool and other natural fibres, to create beautiful handcrafted fabrics.
She has experience in leading art & design lessons in schools tailored to the National Curriculum and runs workshops in feltmaking and other textile skills for both children and adults in the Derbyshire/South Yorkshire area.
Previous and ongoing projects include textile workshops for adults at her Sheffield studio, sessions for Sheffield Children's Hospital and leading a local arts week for Dronfield primary schools.
