Having learnt to weave in Sweden I love to make something very traditional to that country, rag rugs, but in my own way. I use different weave techniques and a modern palette of colours to create bright, contemporary designs that look equally good on the wall or the floor. One thing I still do the 'old fashioned' way is to useas much re-cycled material as I can, and I like to incorporate something with personal history in each piece. I can work to commission or contact me to see my current range.
I have run weaving workshops for primary school age children with an easily achievable end product to take home and am happy to work in other settings or with other age groups. Please contact me for more information.
