Information
I am a textile artist. I design, make and sell felted lambswool jackets, hats and brooches, and, a fine art series of felt Contemplation Pieces. I also make garments in silk, linen and cotton. My main preoccupations are with colour, simplicity and quality. I sell directly to the public, through Farmers' Markets, Craft and Agricultural Fairs and Festivals. Having recently returned to Derbyshire, I am constantly seeking new opportunities. I would like to start teaching again, and, to discuss commissions and consultancy work. I have had a very successful previous career in management and administration; my transferable skills include public speaking, writing brochures and scripts, designing management systems, project management, managing finance, etc. I tell my customers to: WALK AWAY WEARING AN ARTWORK.
